Okay so most of this is going to look like gibberish, but once you get a little practice at reading coupons and store adds, you’ll be able to speak crazy coupon lingo too!
Lingo breakdown
$1.00/1 : One dollar off 1 product
$1.00/2 : One dollar off 2 products
B1G1: Another way of saying “buy one, get one”
B2G1: Another way of saying “buy two, get one”
EB’s: Extra Bucks are store credits you earn from CVS
Manufacturer: Is a Company who produces the brand items
MFR: Abbreviation for Manufacturer
MIR: Mail in Rebate. (Love these!)
One Coupon per Purchase: Means you can use one coupon per item being purchased. This means if you have 2 packs of gum, you can use one coupon on each pack of gum. Be sure to read each coupon for “Limit __ per Transaction”
One Coupon per Transaction: This means you are limited to 1 of these coupons per entire transaction. This does not mean you are limited to transactions. If you have 4 coupons, do 4 transactions
OOP: Out-of-Pocket; refers to the amount of money you will pay a store to make your purchase. Does not include after-purchase savings, coupons and rebates.
Stacking: This means taking a store Coupon and stacking it with a Manufactures Coupon.
There are plenty of other abbreviations out there, but these are really the only ones I will use in my posts. If you want to take a look at a much bigger list than mine check out TheKrazyCouponLady. I learned everything I know for those AWESOME Krazy Ladies!
